This qualification reflects the role of employees such as drillers’ assistants and trainee drillers who undertake a prescribed range of functions involving known routines and procedures and who take some responsibility for the quality of work outcomes. It is a secondary or transition level certificate that personnel would be enrolled in to progress their career in exploration drilling. The course provides he learnings to commence the planning, conducting and maintaining of drilling activities and general site operations.
